I have something to discuss with you. I don't know if you are familiar with one of the members on the U.S. vintage sites, "Kawasaki Kate" (Katie Root). She and her father are big into vintage racing, very competative and some of the nicest people you will every meet. One of the other members, "Dr. Mario" (Don Soukup) recently got the news that his daughter has cancer, a very bad kind. This is on top of several other medical problems she already has. The vintage community here has had several fundraisers, raffles, sled giveaways to raise money for them. Don is self-employed and trying to make everything work out. Recently Kate held a fundraiser for Don's family. She collected donations to do a "polar plunge". She dedicated a lot of time, effort & her own money to do this. Very self-less in my opinion. Because of our economy she lost her job but never mentioned this while doing the fundrasier. Her boyfriend recently proposed to her & they will soon be getting married. Because of their financial situation times are tight. She has registered to win a wedding package. I think this may not be the best time to get married but that is their choice, right? We have been trying to help her win. People can follow this link to register & vote for them. When you sign up, they will ask some questions. You will not get any spam or unwanted junk. The first time you vote, it will give them 15 or 16 votes. After that you can vote once a day for 1 vote per day. If you have more than 1 e-mail address, you can vote once per day, per address. They need at least 3000 votes by the end of March.
